The undergrouind is a place for those who were either opressed or rejected either in society or by peers. Changez was the name of the underground night club I practically lived at in the 90's. Nobody judged you there, everyone was equal. I can still hear the D.J. Thrill Kill Phil play everything from the smiths to nitzer ebb, to front 242 to ministry and so on. It was a place to unwind. The 3 cats in the picture are me and two friends I hung out with at changez. The clock represents my past. Although I loved that place, it still didnt cure my insecurities. I would drink heavily, and dance to the music I related to. The dark moods of Depeche Mode among others. I picked "Heaven knows Im miserable now", by the smiths because of the lyrics I think fit the piece. It defines my life back then.......No love and all depression. This is one of several of my "Dark Collection", which deals with my past.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
